Here are a couple sketch book quickies.

Quick sketch book ink.

Here are a couple from last nights drawing session.Each page is from one 20 min pose. I move around the model and spend about 5 min's on each drawing. Really just concentrating on the form and line control.

Sketch book fun

Series of sketches of the dogs and cats in my sketch book. I really enjoy doing these and just adding a little bit of watercolor.I used an ink brush pen for the inital drawing.

Drawing Session

I really love doing multiple drawings of the same pose. Each sheet was a 20 minute pose. I would do one drawing then move a little one way or the other. In doing this I worked on each drawing about 6 minutes.

These paintings are 4' x 4' done in oil on canvas. I have a group in this series and I will post more. Sorry again for the bad pics.

Tuesday night drawing session

Here are a couple of drawings from last nights open figure session. It's been too long since I have been to the drawing session. Man did I miss it. They have them on Tuesday and Thursday nights. As I go I will post new drawings.

Small painting started

Ok so it's been awhile since I have posted. I have decided tonite I was going to get back at it and blast out an oil painting. This is about 1hr and 15min. Had lots of fun and will probably work this one a bit more.
